Might check with Boyds to see if they make a replacement stock for these. Not likely, but possible. Only other option would be Numrich's or finding one at a gunshow.
Hello there,
Recently purchased a Savage 19 NRA, I believe it is the latter edition, serial is 54xxx, and the owner before me decided to modify the stock to add a ghetto thumb through option. Refinished the stock and it looks good, but I would prefer to have a new stock without the hole.
Any idea what will fit? It's a beautiful firearm, rich brown patina, shoots like a dream. Just would like to get a replacement stock on it.
It does not have the peep sights, will be putting a new scope on it, and it does not have the barrel band. It is not the full military stock version, that is the under 50000 serial number if I did my homework correctly.
I picked this up for 125$, so no worries any way it is, just wondering.
Thank you
SHM

Tough one to find.
I'm wondering if an early model 23 stock would fit, bolt spacing on the stock should be the same.
Savage- "never say never".
