Heavy Sand

I just got a Edgewood Gator bag and I need to fill it. So I've read some articles about different heavy sands. I tried contacting some places about getting zircon with no luck. I found some stuff called Sniper sand that is suppose to be heavier then zircon. Any advice on what to fill this with would be greatly appreciated.

Sinclair Intl sells heavy sand. If you have a local coal dealer, try them, they may have something similar.

Short round what do you mean a local coal dealer? I live in PA so I have lots of coal dealers around. What should I be looking for at a coal dealer?

They call it coal slag...it is used for media blasting also. It's lots cheaper than zircon sand.

I don't remember the name for product, but a buddy of mine went to a supplier & asked for heavy sand. They only sold it in one ton quantities, but they suggested something else, and it was free. I will call & find out the name of the product.

I went to the local sand blasting shop and got stuff from them. The guy just gave me enough to get my two done for nothing
