You will not be dissapointed with the powder, but don't anve any experience with the Hornady bullets. It should be pretty easy to find a combination that works for your rifle.

im open to use other bullets but i picked up 250 of these for $50 thought it was pretty cheap and worth a try for the cost
i have loaded 42gr 43gr and 44gr at 2.800 coal to test and will go from there but wondering if anyone else had any insight before i go blast i may load a few more!
42 gr of 4064 is a sweet spot usually. Shot 168 AMAX through mine (same gun) . Seat the bullets .020 off the lands and I think you'll be happy
Well I had a little time after the post and figured what the hell went to farm and shot three 5 round groups
42gr was not good at all here is the 43 and then 44gr loads, I re tightened my stock for last group I forgot to torque it after taking it apart the other day.. May need to re test 42gr as well
i plan to work on .3gr increments from 43.1 to 44.4
44 produced 3 in same hole and 1 bad flyer may have been me ill have to test again
43
44gr

43.2 IMR 4064 168gr SMK HPBT seated .020 off the lands. Using once fired (thru this rifle) Lake City and Hornady.
No pics of target loaded on my iPad, will try to post later.

44g looks like a good load now just try adjusting seating depth and i bet youll find a 5 in 1 group.
If you don't like those groups try the 175/ 178 class boolit.
Out of a Remington and savage with a bull barrel the hornady 168 grain bullets rule as well as the sierra 168 matchking. You will be told to use 175's or whatever but under 500 yards these bullets should give you great accuracy. I have been using them for 30 years.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

People shoot under 500 yds?
Savage 10 BA 168 SMK load, 45g IMR 4064, Lapua brass, BR2 primer, .010 off the lands @ 2820fps
5 shot groups with this load out of my rifle are one ragged hole in the .3 to .4 range. I've popped 16.9oz water bottles @ 1000 yards with this load.
