Where have all the 250's gone?

I started looking for a factory 250 Savage preferably in a model 16 Weather Warrior, I have yet to see one for sale. Maybe Savage only made one?

I bought a new American Classic Model 14 .250 Savage in January from Glauber's Sports and they had a new Model 16 SS .250 Savage at that time. If I recall correctly the Cat # was 16 fhss. Here is the A/D and phone#.

If you have a donor action, Midway has a blued Shaw .250 Savage barrel for under $130. I bought one last summer, but didn't get to shoot it much. I messed my back up pretty bad and only went deer hunting 3 times and due to pain never stayed longer than 2 hours. Now that I am doing better, it is time to develop a good load for it.

Just picked up a 2 year old used 14 blued last week for a song. Got a 16 SS takeoff barrel a few months ago. They are out there.
