Which model trigger are you using?
After spending more time and money than I should, my trigger pull is still too high. The sear engagement is down to "just barely" and the trigger return spring is very light. These things helped but we're not there yet. It occurs to me that the firing pin spring, which puts a load on the sear, may be the problem. Has anyone used a lighter spring? Did it help? What spring did you use? How light can you go and still ignite the primer?

Sell the SAV-1 and get a SAV-2 and your problems will be over.
You don't want to go to a lighter firing pin spring unless you enjoy dealing with light primer strikes and ignition issues.

I would also offer that with that trigger, if you are "noticing" that the trigger takes conscience effort; you need a new stock. Terrible ergo's will leave your hand "hanging in the wind" so to speak, and take focus away from the target.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
