yes, the from-the-factory chambered RUM rifles are long action large shank's
yes, you could put an accutrigger on one of these actions.
Do the actions that were used to build the 300 and 7mm RUM caliber rifles accept the large shank barrels, also will the accu trigger work on these actions?

J-G-H, Thanks for the info. I did another search and found some info on the barrel shank sizes. I couldn't find any info on the trigger change. If you know of any aftermarket stocks that are inletted for the RUM actions I would appreciate the info.
dremel will finish the mag box inlet

Blue Avenger , Sir thank you- what about the action screw centers , who has stocks that are drilled on the correct ctrs ?
Screw spacing is the same on all long actions.
Also, most stocks will have a large enough mag well to fit RUM mag boxes.

Geargrinder, Thanks for the info.
i had to mill out a junk bin LA wood stock to take my rum action magbox, it was long enough, but not deep enough. Stockade stocks will make u a custom stock specifically for the rum, ive got one on order. kinda a long wait, but the prices are good. also, some rums were small shank

Make sure that your action is a large shank before you get a barrel because the first RUM's Savage made were standard shank.
