Info on savage 77e-m please

Hi all, I've been looking for info about my Stevens Savage Arms pump action. It's stamped as model 77E-M, but there is no visible serial number. Stamps on the barrel close to the receiver are a 5M in a small oval, a 7M in small oval, unreadable mark in oval and on the bottom off the barrel is a C. It is also stamped proof tested 12 gauge, 3" chamber.

Sometimes there is a misfire on the third shot, taking the shell out there is a small dent in the primer and that's it. Other times a shell gets stuck in the cartridge and it needs to be fiddled with to get it out.

Where would be best to find out the proper cleaning, checking all parts are installed properly? Thank you.

Those M stamps are actually date codes, it was made in 1961.
