    Dumb question.


    i am new here and just learning the ropes. can you guys tell me what does 0 MOA mean and some say 20 MOA WHEN IT COMES TO A BASE AND RINGS? thanks for the help

    20 MOA base allows for more internal elevation adjustment in your scope in long range shooting... Plenty of information on the net covering what it all means, I would suggest reading as much as you can.

    MOA = minute of angle. It's 1/60th of one degree of angle. In target shooting terms it is approximately 1inch at 100 yards.

    A 20 MOA base (or whatever number you might want to use) mounts the scope with the point of impact 20 minutes higher than "standard" bases and is typically used for long range shooting.
