scope rail

I am building a savage 10 fp for long range shooting 600 yd max for ranges by me . I have a sightron sii 4-16x42 with 50 moa in scope do i need a 20 moa rail are a 0 moa ? thanks for help

If you can zero near optical center or lower of the scope with a 0 MOA rail then you will have enough adjustment for 600 yard shooting with a 308 as you only need about 15 MOA to get to 600 yards. If you are above center you might need the 20.
