    93R17 FNS-SR question.

I just bought this rifle and noticed that it has a weird set up. It has a push nut and stud instead of a threaded screw in the magazine bracket. It also has the front stud for the action screw looks funny, as it looks like it bottoms out on the barrel with threads showing. I know pictures would help, but I have no way to post them. Anyone else have this ?

So, what's the problem with it?

I don't have a problem with it. Just curious is all. Sharpshooter, you are the Savage guru, can you answer my questions ?
