    savage 11 .....ordering Choate stock.

Awaiting my new model 11 predator/Hunter in 6.5 creedmoor, am anxious to place order on a Choate tactical stock but not quite sure about fitment.....the one I'm looking at is the 25-06-01, my concern is I'm also wanting to go with a 10 round detachable mag, is this going to require inletting the new stock to accommodate the new mag? I'm not100% sure of the transformation from factory mag to a new extended mag.....any and all suggestions would be much appreciated......thanks.

I would call choate and ask them. Most get sent to the metal manufacturer like CDI to get fitted for the bottom metal and to make sure the mag works properly. PTG doesn't do any stock work so you would have to send it out to someone for fitment.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

I just inletted my Choate for a CDI bottom metal last night. You have to take about 0.050" off each side and about 0.5" cut below the flat spot. CDI will inlet for there bottom metal for free if i remember correctly.
