LET ME SEE IF I HAVE THIS STRAIGHT. a center feed blind magazine is the one like this..correct?




i need a follower in 270 for a stagger feed one

I dunno, but AFAIK, "blind" means that the bottom of the stock is solid ("blind"), and there's no way to remove the magazine from the bottom.

That looks like a removable center feed magazine to me...

FWIW, you might have better luck searching for a follower for 30.06, since that's more common and the same dimension as your .270.

You have it straight. The weapon shown is a center feed, blind mag. The l-shaped bracket at the top of the magazine is a dead giveaway that it's NOT removable through the bottom of the stock.

Call Savage Customer Service and use rifle serial number F498850. Order part number 104804. That's a stagger feed follower from a 116FSS in 270 and should be what you need.
