Large Shank Barrel in a PTA action Question

I know that the threads are the same between the large shank and the target barrels. But the thread length is longer in the large shank. 1.400 for the target and 1.500 for the standard large shank. I have a new large shank barrel to put it in a target action does the barrel need to be shortend and rechamberd? Or will the extra .100 of thread not hurt anything?

Large shank barrels are all the same thread length, 1.400". (factory barrels anyway...) 1.500 won't hurt anything, the nut will still cover the threads.
