More Barrel Installation Questions

I've got one of the LH 112 J's that they make about fifteen years ago in .223 and would like to change the barrel to a .223 Wilde. I'd like to do this myself since I've got several Savage 110s that I might also change barrels, if not too bad. I went to Brownells web site and looked at their Savage barrel installation instructions. They recommend buying a $350 barrel vise from them. Whew!! I've got a Wheeler barrel vise that I've used on several surplus rifles. Anyone used the Wheeler vise on a Savage?
I was told to use the SSS recoil plate and barrel nut. I've got the barrel wrench and the go, no-go gauges in .223 Wilde. Is there anything else that I need? Thanks.
