Kydex cheek rest on laminate or wood?

Anyone ever run a kydex cheek rest on a wood or laminate stock? Im wondering if i need to epoxy sleeves/collars with a larger ID for the through bolts so they dont split or wallow out the holes in a wood stock.

...uhhhhh, well suppose it depends on how you do it. I've never wallowed out screws and used everything under the sun. Kydex, UHMW, wood, etc.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

I was gonna do it just like my synthetic stock and drill right through it but start out with a smaller drill bit and step it up at low rpm so it doesnt damage it.

I run XLR's aluminum saddle cheek rests on my laminates. Allen head bolts into 1/2"x1.5" double ended stand off pillars which gives four independent anchors and makes them rock solid when tighten down.
