    Savage 170 firing pin issues

I have been playing with a Savage 170 30-30 pump for a bit and noticed sometimes when I open the bolt after dry firing the firing pin protrudes about a half inch. Could the firing pin be broken? I have not shot it since. I have another bolt and firing pin if it needs replacement.

Sounds broken, shouldn't be sticking out that far for sure.

    Buy yourself some 30-30 snapcaps.
