Model 10FCP 5R 20 Stripped Stock screw hole HELP!!

I have a self inflicted problem in where I stripped the screw hole (yes I learned my lesson) under the bolt release on the trigger guard. The screw still goes in and screws into the action I believe but I am worried that it is may lead to an issue with the stock not fitting well or something else. Is the anyway I can fix it without buying a new stock?

    Thanks,
    Kirkd1

you stripped the screw or the threaded hole in the receiver? There are no threads in the stock.

If you are talking about the wood screw type fastener, i would use a two part expoy to fill the hole and apply a release agent to the screw and let it sit until cured. I have done this process on my truck grille tabs before and worked like a dream.
