    Hi'

    Joined today,lots of info. here.

Own a 220 stainless slug gun. Deadly accurate at 100 yards and even to 150 yards using the new trophy copper slugs.

Wish i would of never sold my old 22 hornet with a side scope mount. Sweet memories of my old farm buddy wacking his crows and wood chucks.

Called the savage custom shop on friday and asked about getting a 35 whelen barrel for my model 116 stainless in 30-06 as a replacement barrel. The 2 different ladies i talked to were very short on an helpful info. They just said they didn't have any .End of conversation. Think they wanted to go home.

Found out searching the web about E.H. Shaw replacement barrels from Midway USA.

    Welcome.

The custom shop will only build rifles in chamberings in their current line-up. They do not sell barrels under any circumstances according to Effie at Customer Service.

Pac-Nor and Shilen will do you a 35 Whelen barrel. Jim at ApacheGunworks might have a reamer for it as well.
