    primer gauge?


    Gentlemen: Is there some type of gauge that will measure a primer pocket to see if it was too loose to hold a primer properly?

    A Dial caliper?

    Primer bore dimensions

    Small Rifle .1730 -.1745
    Large rifle .2085 - .2100

    Or us a primer. There should be some interference.
