    bolt binding question

Just got my duramax stock and cut my left bolt port, threw my action in, tightened it down and found that my bolt wouldn't open.

After investigating I found that the front screw was too long and acting like a set screw on the lug. To correct the problem I just added a stainless washer to take up some space. Everything seems to be working fine now.

    Should I be more concerned?

    normal when changing stocks.

the front scope base rear screw will normally touch the barrel threads also. that is why you always start with that screw and see if your base is tight before putting in the other.
