Model 10 Top Bolt Release in a Bottom Bolt Stock

Grabbed a Boyd's thumbhole with factory DBM inlet from a fellow member, and it turns out to be for a bottom bolt release (my fault for not asking).

I know I can do a little work on the stock to clear the sear and bolt release lever, but will the old style trigger guard and factory DBM fit in the same inlet? I don't have the gun I'm my hands yet, and thought I'd ask before I start relieving wood to mirror a factory plastic.

(I've searched the site about 15 times, but can't seem to find an answer)

It all depends which trigger guard you have. You may have to fill the inlet for the trigger guard somewhat for proper fit.

Model 10 Top Bolt Release in a Bottom Bolt Stock

That was what I was worried about. I'll have to see if it's worth the $20 savings vs my time and effort
