The "Varmint/Tactical" and the "M40 Tactical" are two different stocks.

I have a Tactical Medalist, and these stocks are great, as far as bedding the action is concerned. The one piece bedding block/full skeleton can only be rivaled by a chassis system. I consider them to be a bargin price. :-)

Have to agree. I've used their Medalist line on my Weatherby Mark V in 257 Weatherby. Dropped right in and accuracy improvement was a nice plus as well. I'm partial to Manners Stocks, but with their new M40 line for Savage SA, that may change.

Hey guys needing a little help. I have a Savage HH .308 and was looking at the B&C M40 stock that is coming out. The obvious problem I need savage factory bottom metal and mags for the stock.
Is this even possible to put the HH barrel and action into the B&C M40and convert to it to use factory savage mags. If so can someone help with part numbers needed or aserial number to find the items needed on savages site.

Yes it's definetly doable and likely a must as these are inlet for factory bottom.
CDI and AM will drop in too. They use AI mags.
Are you wanting DBM or HFP? I can supply numbers for SS HFP. I may still have a rifle that will give number for DBM.
Pm if interested in any. May be tomorrow but I'll get info to you. Been a long day.
