Necking down a 6.5x47 to 6x47 lapua round

I have a RCBS gold medal bushing FL sizer die for my 6.5x47.

Is it possible just to change the neck bushing and resize my new brass to 6x47 since I now own a 6x47?

Yes, you can just change bushings. You'll probably induce some neck runout by doing it in one pass.....a couple different bushings would be better. Watch for the doughnuts forming at the neck shoulder junction as well......

Any runout will be "fireformed" out at the first firing.

Might be better just to get a set of 6x47L dies!
