Price check on Stevens 425 High Power Rifle

Looking at a Stevens 425 High Power Rifle and would like opinions on what they are going for? My 3-4yr old blue book says $650 at 100% but seems they are going for much more than that.
It is in 35 Rem, 70% blue with some browning (receiver maintains at least 80% while barrel is mostly thin with browning). There is a 1" H x 2" W replacement repair on butt stock tang side panel, otherwise several odd dings and 90%. Claims it locks up fine and fired well 30yrs ago when last shot.
Thanks in advance for any help.

There was a guy on another forum talking about one he had for sale that had been fired years ago but had some issues. Just an FYI and probably not the same one, but pays to be informed.

    I've got 3 of them, a 25 Rem and 2 in 35 Rem.

There was only around 6000 of them ever made and they're bringing a premium these days, seen them selling for up to $1000 usually but a real nice one will bring more.
    Savage- "never say never".

Anyone else have any help with the Stevens 425 going rate / value?
