Problem installing scope mount on 10BA

I just picked up a 10BA today. My scope is not here yet but I tried to put my Larue one piece scope mount on but would not line up on the rail. Anyone have that issue.

Is it an AR15 mount that is bottoming out on the receiver?

Its like the rail is not Mil Spec. The scope mount fits on all my other rails.

I'm going to make a wag & say your mixing Picatinny style mount with Weaver style base. Google dimensions for picatinny rail, for dimensions.

Searched the wed last nite and found that I'm not alone. Until I hear from Savage to verify it, the rail that is on the 10BA and probably the 110BA's, is in fact a Weaver style mount. Which makes no sense for a tactical rifle, maybe a hunting rifle.
