Boyds Stock for Hog Hunter .308

Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I cannot find any info on the matter. I want to replace the original stock that came on the rifle, but with the medium contour barrel I don't want to order the wrong stock and then find out it doesn't fit. So far the only info that was of use was that all I need is a stock for a short action center feed rifle. I am waiting for a response from the folks at Boyd's, but I figured the forum might be an even better source. Thanks in advance for any input.

The short action center feed blind mag bull barrel should fit. My Boyd's stock required some material be removed around the barrel nut before it would actually fit though. You will need an old style trigger guard though. I also ended up ordering the longer screws from them, but they both ended up being too long.

Opening up the barrel channel is not that difficult if need be. I got a stock from Boyds. With center feed I could only get a channel for a spotter contour barrel. Instead of messing with the mag well and getting a staggered feed I just sanded the barrel channel.
