    wood stocks

Just put my first Savage in layaway; It is a model 93 22mag with a sporter barrel and an accutrigger. I'm interested in replacing the plastic stock with a wooden stock. I'm not interested in a laminate stock (too pretty for the woods I hunt in), just looking for a wooden factory stock. I've found them on ebay in listings but the ones I've found are for a model 93 22 mag pre accu trigger. Would this work for me or should I contact Savage and order one from them to be sure that it will fit properly.

Go to Boyds stocks for $99+shipping you can choose from several styles & colors of laminated stock or the have walnut or painted as well. I really like their thunbholes & the Tacticool as the design matches several of my centerfire bolt actions.
