Who makes a sporter stock with 4.27 spacing?

Looking for a synthetic stock with 4.27 spacing, stagger feed, blind mag and preferably a bedding block. Not interested in a "tactical" style stock or a laminate.

Haven't seen the B&C Medalist with the SA spacing, am I just missing it?

Any others to look at?

You are not getting any replies because there are no longer any off the shelf suppliers to my knowledge who offer Savage SF BM sporter style composite stock. B&C use to offer a Savage SA, SF Carbelite Classic. But it is no longer available. You might find a used one in the WTB section.

Stockade Gunstocks offers several custom Savage SA, SF, sporter stock styles (Hunting Sporter, Mule Deer) that fit your criteria. But you'll have to get in line and wait 16+ weeks. IMO, it is worth the wait for a top notch, light weight composite stock at a reasonable price.

You might consider picking up a cheap Savage SA SF BM hardwood stock from Numrich Gun Parts. Duracoat will seal the wood with a very durable, chemical and chip resistant epoxy finish. No one will know it is not a composite stock but you. And it is just as solid as any of the composite stocks I have owned over the years. That's what I ended up doing when faced with the same dilemma of trying to find a Savage SA composite sporter stock. I use it as my utility stock for hunting season and then dress it back up with the pretty walnut stock the rest of the year.

Thanks for the replies. Spoke With Stockade yesterday, wait is now 28 weeks. How do you like the Hunter Sporter? How is cheek weld with a scope?

I have the LA Hunter Sporter. It is my favorite Savage hunting stock. It is light (32 oz). The narrow, flat forearm also track well on the bags for bench load development. It tames recoil better than any Savage plastic or wood stock I own. The recoil pad is better and it has a larger shoulder foot print when compared to factory stocks. Cheek weld is OK, but a little low for me with the medium Burris Signature Zee rings. Low profile rings would be ideal, but I prefer the Burris Signature rings. The stock barrel channel will accept up to a magnum sporter profile barrel without modification. I have opened it up to accept a 6.5 x 284 CBI light varmint barrel in the past.

Since then I've used the Stockade stock for a mountain rifle build with a LW contour 2.0 lb, 23" barrel in 280 AI. I refilled the barrel channel with bedding compound and taped the barrel underside to float it. Repainted the stock using a Duracoat Underbrush base coat and Krylon black webbing paint. Total rifle weight with Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40 scope as pictured below is just 8 lbs. It is hard to believe this Savage LA, BM rifle build with Stockade Hunter stock is actually 6 oz lighter then the Savage SA, metal DBM build pictured above with a painted factory hardwood stock, 22" factory sporter barrel and lighter Leupold VX-2 2-7x33 scope.
