Starting with a date code on the gun somewhere, should be a small oval with a number and a letter stamped inside of it.
My dad has an old double barrel from around the mid to late 60's it was his when he was a kid. He blew out one of the barrels shooting pumpkin balls, one go stuck half way up the barrel . What are the odds of finding a new set of barrels? I'm leaving out a bunch of gun info and my dad has a homework assignment to get me some barrel and receiver pics so I can get more specific with year and model. Does anyone have any ideas where to start lookin for barrels and do you think I could make it a 20ga or 12ga. This is a long term project I would like to get it ready for my son to shoot someday and since he is only 4 I have time.
