    model 11 vt bolt handle

I just picked up a new model 11 vt 223 rifle. Before I even had it out of the box, I ordered a replacement bolt handle to keep the feel the same as my other rifles. When I went to remove the factory handle I noticed that the back of the bolt has a cocking indicator inside the hex bolt. Is anyone familiar with this, and how do I remove it?

    Thanks

that object in the hex bolt opening is the rear of the firing pin. some of the newer ones have this feature so you can see it is cocked. when uncocked, you can get a wrench in there.
