    New from NE North Carolina

Hi folks. New to your forum from North Eastern North Carolina. Looking forward to learning more about Savage firearms from you good people here. I now own only one Savage. It is an Axis in .308 that I am using to learn to shoot from a bench. I have weighted the stock, added a scope, and a timney trigger. Really enjoying it so far, and hope to add a new savage rifle in .223, also for bench shooting in the next few weeks. Maybe you guys can help me decide which to buy. Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning from the folks that know Savage firearms best.
    Thanks,
    Donnie D

Welcome to the site. You are invited to join our monthly email matches here at Savage Shooters. We have both rimfire and centerfire matches. The rules are linked below. Some friendly competition is a great way to learn what you can do with that new Savage.
