Short barreled 260 ackley

Building my wife a rifle, 20" 260ai.

Will hopefully be shooting 129/130 bullets


anyone have experience with short barreled 260? What powders should produce best velocity out of this combo ? Will primarily be hunting antelope/whitetail/mule deer .

2700fps from a 20" "regular" 260 with 43.0gr H4350 under a 140gr HPBT.

The same powders that produce the best velocity in a longer barrel. Never shot a 260AI but H4350 has always been a top performer for me in a straight 260 with 15"-26" barrels.
