The 340 uses a side mount. Both B-square and weaver make one to fit. Try Midway USA. The 340's are real sleepers for a fun liyylr gun .
A neighbor bought a .222/340 model. It is a great shooter. He wants to switch to a larger scope but can't find mounts to fit. Is there a place to order some or will he have to manufacture parts?

dose the gun have 4 holes in the left side of the receiver?
first ones did not, next ones had 2 for peep sites, later ones had 4 holes tapped for the scope mounts.

The rear of the receiver isn't drilled. I'll check. He wants to mount a 50mm scope.
holes would be on the left side.

Got it right here, same as yours, same color stock and in great shape. Has Weaver 1"/L mount at this time. same hole pattern. Wish I'd found it before he did.
