Put a factory mag together ?

Has anyone put a factory box mag together ? Savage sells the parts. The box, follower, and the plastic bottom. I can order the parts all for $23.00 + ship.
My main question is : did you have any trouble snapping the bottom onto the metal magazine ?
My guess would be that they are tougher to get apart without breaking the plastic ?

Yup. Way cheaper to buy the parts and assemble yourself.
Assembly time is about 30 seconds, no tools needed.
And you have to try pretty hard to break the plastic.
