I need to replace my lever

I need to replace my lever for my 1935 300 Savage 99EG. From doing a little research, I see that there are a couple different ones and I want to make sure I get the right one ordered to avoid the hassle of returning.

Does anybody know the part number?

If you need any other info, just let me know.

    Thanks

Just checked Numrichs, they're sold right out of the one you need.

The Savage part number you would need would be 99-416, not to be confused with 99A-416, big difference.

Thanks....I knew there were multiple levers but wasn't sure which one was the correct part.

Just curious, why do you need to replace the lever?

Wow, never seen anything like that happen before, must have taken a good blow to crack a 99 lever.

Wondering if someone might have tried to put new case colors on it and heated it up and then cooled it to fast.

I would guess that it was just due to my brother not taking care of it and not treating it well while he had it in his possession. What is causing a problem is a certain company sending the wrong lever part twice even after being very specific and them actually confirming the lever before ordering.

Ya, isn't it great how they catalog their parts these days, not a clue.

Probably Numrichs if you can get them to send you the right part.

Numrich has the right part listed, with a photo, and even my gunsmith called to get it and they sent him the wrong part. Such is life.
