What twist are the factory Savage .260 barrels?

How did they shoot?

For those that have them or had them, what bullets worked best?

Pretty sure 1/8, a friend has one and everything he feeds it shoot great. 120gr Speer's have been very accurate from his.

The real question is why they still don't offer the 260 Rem......had an FP 260 some yrs ago

believe it was a 9 twist.......
