    Savage 212 loading issues

I have a rather new model 212 bolt action shotgun...it has the same issue with any magazine and either size shell. When sending the bolt forward the shell gets slammed into the top of the breech. Any magazine...and manufacturer of ammo. Any ideas what could be the issue?

    Thank you for you opinions.

Did you ever figure it out? I just bought the 212 a month ago and it has the exact same problem that many others are having. Pisses me off. One guy said he has to just use it through the season and then send it to Savage. He got it back from them without explanation, but said it worked fine for all rounds and didn't have an issue since. Savage didn't tell him what they did. I think they know but dont want to admit to the public they messed up the design. Let me know if you found a solution. Thank!
