    Help me choose a stock

New guy here. I'm almsot to the point of getting a Shilen DGR barreled action for a 300 Win Mag build (bull barrel). I'm looking at several stocks - Manners, HS Precision, AICS and McMillan. Is any extra inletting needed to accommodate the Savage barrel but?

    Thanks.

With my shilen action i had to do a little in-letting for the barrel nut on a sporter style stock. On a choate tactical none was needed. It wasn't much i was able to use a sharp chisel and just scrape the material away slowly. Took about 20 minutes of remove a little and check. If you are custom ordering a manner/mcmillan i would think they can inlet for the nut.

You should tell your stock builder what recoil lug you are using in case it is thicker which would mean the inlet to be moved forward due to the lug.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
