    Need 110 Stock help

Can anyone tell me if this stock has an aluminum bedding block or pillars? Brownells couldn't tell me.

Also, does anyone know what barrel contour the B&C Medalist Sporter rifle stock will support? Guessing sporter weight because of the name, but thought I would check.

The Choate does not. It is the factory tupperware stock, not an upgrade.

The Medalist is a good sporter stock with the bedding block. It handles standard sporter diameter barrels.

The B&C Medalist Classic sporter stock would be a good choice if you want a composite stock over a Boyd's walnut or laminated wood stock. I believe they offer a Savage LA, blind magazine stock for the action you acquired. It will accept up to a magnum contour sporter barrel. There is room to open up the barrel channel slightly for a heavy sporter contour barrel. They now have DuraCoat in a one-time use rattle can to touch up the barrel channel if you don't own a cheap Harbor freight air brush. I avoid using regular rattle can paint for stocks because it is not resistant to gun solvents like DuraCoat.
