    Kryptic type camo

Not a Savage, but throwing out there for all the gun painters. I really wanted a Kryptic highlander dip on this gun, but could not part with the cash. Used rustoleum paints and a lot of tape. Gun is an Armalite AR-10 243, Nikon Prostaff 4x12, Mag Pull MOE handguards, sopmod stock, and a custom "tactical" brown flip flop recoil pad. The flip flop was taken from one of the kid's closets.

Have you been taking lessons from Fred Moreo? He's been known to hack up a flip-flop now and then to use as a butt pad on his personal guns (usually when he's trying to be all girly and color-coordinate)

At least he doesn't wear those old Mork from Ork rainbow suspenders anymore...

Thanks guys. Just hoping to throw some ideas out there for others. I called LMT for a replacement recoil pad for the stock, since there was not one on it. Told $45.00. Flip flop $2.00 I was told by my daughter. Lesson learned here, a new flip flop is better than a used flip flop. Had to put this one in a vise for a day to flatten it out before glueing to the stock.
