New Savage owner

Just purchased my first Savage rifle today, a Model 16 in .243. I plan on it being my primary coyote and deer rifle. It was a package deal that came with the Nikon BDC scope. Hoping to try it out on some 'yotes here real soon. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge from this forum on ammo type, etc.

Had my first duh moment with the rifle this evening but found my answer on here. Could not get the stock off, but finally found out there is another screw under the bolt button that is hidden. Made me feel like a complete moron but I got it figured out.
