I have the sss trigger and some sav-2 rifle basix. I like them both but prefer the rifle basix at least for me. The choate is a solid stock but quite heavy at around 6 pounds. However it is stiff as all get out, rugged would come to mind.
Went to a gun show last weekend & a LH 111 in 30-06 (Serial Number G060398) came home with me. Blind Mag, Stagger Feed with Bushnell Banner 3x9-40 scope mounted. Has what seems to be a compact stock on as the length of pull is just under 13". Was browsing Midway USA's site Monday night & saw they had a Choate Varmint stock on clearance so it is now scheduled to be here tomorrow. Plan is to shoot a bit & decide whether to upgrade the trigger & if so to what. Will try to post a pic with the new stock after I install it tomorrow.

Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
