    Pinned barrel removal?

Am preparing to remove the pinned barrel on my model 25T.

Is there anything special that I need to know before proceeding with this?

I looked on YouTube but did not see any videos on the pinned barrel.

Do you have a smith to thread the action for the new barrel? Repinning a new barrel is a factory job. I had the threading done with a 581 rem 22 rim fire years ago. Made a great shooting rifle.

I would be re-pinning the original barrel, but acra-glassing it as well. The thing moves in the action, making it impossible to maintain zero.

Ruger pinned a barrel on an old Mark I for me this winter. The barrel 'loosened' and the ejector was loose. Fixing that make her a shooter. Now all I need is an old style mag spring for a little more push on one mag and look out...
