    Boyds thumbhole stocks ???


    Does anyone here know if these stocks come pillarbedded or not..

    I did not notice it on their web site....And what is your opinion

    on their stocks..

    The ones I have did not come with pillars,but that was not an issue with for me.I am very satisfied with the fit and workmanship as all have been true drop in fit.The best you can buy for the money in my opinion, I know there are better choices for a specific use but for the money they are hard to beat.

    I have several of them not beded or pillared or anything, I just opened up the barrel channel screwed them on, and as they say the rest is history.

    I have never found you need them, but if you are so inclined, Stockey's for three times the price come with them.

    it's something one can do himself in a few minutes..Guess I am going to order one and try it..did you have to get the different
    action screws as well?

    The reason I find you don't need them is, they action fits so snug in the stock, and a laminate stock is very rigid.
    and yes you will need longer action screws.
