Just receved my Janurary 2015 American Rifeman magazine were in an article on Savage pak Rifle just looked over it and looks intersting
The Savage Trophy Hunter with the Nikon scope is a deal. Toss the rings and maybe replace the bases and you are good to go. The Hunter package is a non-Accutrigger gun with cheap blister pack scope and the same lousy rings. My last Trophy Hunter package cost me $10 more than the previous Model 11 with no scope.
I have a Trophy Hunter XP in 260 Remington. I haven't shot it much but so far I'm happy with it. I did change the scope and rings. It has the accu trigger.
