Hello from the biggest city in the South

    Good evening guys!

I purchased my first Savage earlier this fall and finally have the time and money to start tinkering with it. I bought it originally to use for one deer season and then convert it to a 6.5swede, but now I'm thinking a bolt gun in x39 might be a sweet little toy as well. The gun currently is a 270win in a wood-stocked 110. The gun is in great shape and I picked it up for less than a new Axis ( It's amazing how cheap guys will let their stuff go to keep their ex-wives from getting it). I'm not new to guns, but I am new to Savages. From all of my research and my experiences so far, I have been very pleased.

As for my screenname, I live inside the Perimeter in a very liberal part of town. Needless to say, my guns and hunting make me a little out of place, hence the name.

I look forward to learning and contributing as much as I can.

    Welcome From OTP
If I'm not mistaken It may take a little patience to come up with an X39 bolt head.
A good wife and a steady job has ruined many a great hunter.
