    Good Morning!

    Hello all.
I am from Northern Illinois. I grew up on the farm and have been shooting since I was big enough to hold a gun. My grandpa got my addiction started when I was about 10. He had a Walther P38. It was my first gun that I shot. Since then I own and have owned Winchesters, H&R's, Savage, Mossberg, Stevens, Colt, Walther, A CZ75, A Mosin, an M&P 15, and a RIA 1911.
My Daughter is my shooting buddy and she is very good with her Savage model 30. She can hit two clays out of the air all day long.
I currently own a Stevens Little Scout 14 1/2 and a Stevens Crackshot. Both need some restoration work. The Crackshot is just cosmetic but the Little Scout is more involved. I found it in a wall while doing a remodel job about 15 years ago. It was covered in rust and the trigger and hammer were froze up. I have since cleaned the rust off and heat blued it. I will post some pics in the forum soon.
I look forward to being a productive member of this community and hope to learn a few things along the way.

Welcome. I thought it was strange that you mentioned finding the gun in a wall. About 40 years ago my brother found an old shotgun in a wall of an old house. I wonder how and why this happens and how often? Anyway have fun on this site! Its a good one.

I really don't know why somebody would put one in a wall. I have found some interesting stuff in old walls tho. Newspapers that were used for insulation. Pottery. A porcelain doll(that was just creepy). Dead mice.
Still waiting to find Jimmy Hoffa......
