    Model 10/11/12 difference

Is there any difference between these models? Going to build a .308 and can't find any info on this. The things I am looking for are, strength in the receiver, triggers, bolts.

    Thanks
    Tom

    Numbers are different... :)
Think of any of the cars/pickups that get purchased today.
If someone wants a Dodge pickup, it doesn't matter if he buys the outdoorsman, the SL, the SLT, the Big Horn. They are are fundamentally identical, just the fluff is different.

So compare the savages, they are fundamentally identical, but have different fluff. The fluff may be: different stocks, part of a different package, different finish, etc.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

For the most part, darkker's right.

There is a real, practical difference in some classes of Accutriggers. There are 3, though Savage doesn't really advertise it well.

    1. "Standard" or "hunting" or whatever you wanna call it
    2. "Varmint"
    3. "Target"

They are same principal, but each has progressively lighter range of trigger pull, and how they achieve that doesn't necessarily come down to just lighter springs.

Correct if I am wrong guys but doesn't the Target Model 12 Series have the Target action while the Varmit model 12 series feature the standard 110 action.

Yes, Rosco. Target series has target actions.
