Good Shooting Bags for Heavy Recoil

Are there bags combined with method that permit 5 magnum shots from bags maintaining bench position?

Looking for bag recommendation that will fit sporter stocks and the SSS Monte Carlo Sporter slightly wider forearm. Mostly want to improve my hunting site-in repeatability for magnums. Keeping bags in the same spot can only help.

Current experience is with a metal rest that jumps all over and shatters pistol grips during recoil travel. Some time ago one of the "J" moderators suggested carpet foam underneath which helped. Also have a set of light bags that offer little for stability control although cause no damage.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Go to "Bull bags" web site and look at their set up to see if that's what your looking for.

I have had good resuls wth the Bll Bags X7 system. It is heavy, but that is the idea.

I use standard bags, but the Bull Bags would probably be a good choice.
Another thing I do with heavy rifles, .375 H&H & up, is hold the forearm firmly with my left hand pulling the rifle back into my shoulder. Holding the rifles forearm helps control recoil & will prevent the forearm from lifting off the sandbag & coming down on the shooting bench.

Thanks, guys. After a little research I realized the breadth of my market place ignorance, didn't think beyond what gets stocked at big box stores.

op, you might enjoy shooting the thumper more if you shoot it standing,
I use a tripod rest and shoot my bigger calibers standing, I am able to keep a 4 to 6 inch group standing with a rest of some sort, so I can swing with the recoil. Else I have to swing by the phantastic massage saloon....
