Used Barrel Question

I am looking at a used barrel with sights already on the barrel. what are the chances that the sights will line up corectly when installing it on my action? I am thinking they will not. please inform me of the right answer.

You could get lucky but the chances are very slim.

+1 , I use a 4 power fixed scope for short range rifles. Works for me.

I guess if you really wanted that barrel, you could screw it in and see. If it has to screw in a bit farther, run a reamer into get the right head space.
If it has to go very much and hits the bolt so to prevent the bolt closing you can face off the barrel, ream for proper headspace.
